What Is We Were Here Too?
We Were Here Too is the 2018 sequel and the first paid entry in the series. It keeps the walkie-talkie formula of the original but moves both players into the castle proper: for the first time, neither player is a safe observer in a tower, and both must navigate dangerous rooms while describing what they see.

How It Plays
Because both players are inside the puzzle spaces, neither of you has the full picture — information asymmetry doubled. Describing objects precisely ("the second lever from the left, under the purple banner") becomes a real skill. The game is longer than the original and noticeably harder, and it is the entry where the series' nameless narrator and Castle Rock lore start to take shape.
Should You Play It Before We Were Here Tomorrow?
Not required — every series entry is a standalone story. It is the right pick if you and your partner want a mid-length challenge and already know you enjoy talking through puzzles. If Tomorrow is your first game, this one is a good "what came before" visit afterwards, since Tomorrow's asymmetric information design builds directly on the ideas introduced here.
